What are we doing to make your Montana Whitewater adventures safe?
We know that social distancing and sanitization procedures will be around for a while so we want to make it as easy as possible for you to skip the lines, crowds, paperwork, and just get outside!
Activity Waivers are completed online.
Our Gallatin, Gardiner, and Bozeman Activity Waivers will be attached to every booking confirmation email. Guests should fill out all waivers in advance online before your trip.
We will collect payment before your trip.
Our office staff will call all reservations the day before to take payment over the phone to cut down on money exchange and handling in the office during check-in periods. You can still book and prepay online in advance.
All trip photos available on our website.
You will now be able to purchase all the amazing photos of your adventure with us through a click of a button. You will receive a log in to view and purchase your trip photos online at your convenience within 24 hours of your trip.
Shop our retail goodies online!
Get your favorite MWW gear, shirts, hats, sunnies, etc. with a click from your phone or computer. If you plan to shop the day of your trip, we will be limiting the number of people in the office at once so we can actively sanitize touch points between groups.
Hand sanitizer and face protection available.
We will have hand sanitizer readily available for customers when in our facilities. Our retail shop will sell face protection if you forget to bring your own.
Follow CDC guidelines on sanitation procedures.
Our rafts, tubes, paddles, zipline gear, fishing poles, paddles, helmets, PFDs, wetsuits, and booties will be disinfected and cleaned after each trip to ensure the safety of every guest. Our vehicles will be cleaned after each trip. We will be taking fewer passengers per shuttle to allow one vacant seat between guests to maintain social distancing. We will clean and disinfect touch points and surfaces throughout the day.
Staff monitoring and daily checks.
We will maintain a strict stay at home policy if any staff member is feeling ill, has a cough, or fever
Implement social distancing.
We will limit the amount of staff and customers in the retail shop to allow for social distancing. We encourage guests to be respectful of one another and give everyone space.
Now, let’s make your trip more enjoyable! We’ve pulled together some tips for you when planning your adventures with Montana Whitewater’s family of businesses.
Plan ahead.
That seems simple, right?! Make your reservations in advance, fill out your waivers online, complete payment, and be sure to bring all the necessary items with you.
Consider booking private boats and/or self-guided boats.
Keeping your group or family together in one boat apart from other people is a great option for maintaining social distancing. Plus, you get a little private boat party! Booking a private boat you will guarantee that it is just your group and the guide. Another social distancing option is a self-guided boat. Available on our calmer waters, you lead your own raft while a guide assists and directs from their kayak on the trip.
Take advantage of our rentals!
Rent tubes, SUPs, rafts, kayaks, canoes, and personal fishing crafts for the day while exploring nature on your own. We will have outdoor pickup and drop off areas at our facility with everything bookable online. We also offer a rental delivery and pickup service for a small fee. A great option for those who want to skip coming to our facility and head straight to the river.
Family vacation plans and summer adventures might look a little different this season but, we are here with you to keep the fun alive and well. With a few adjustments and changes in our lives, we can still enjoy the sunshine, laughter, and awesomeness of the outdoors. Every summer has a story so let’s make 2020 a great one!
