The classic half-day trip runs through the heart of the whitest water in the Yellowstone Area!
You'll begin with some small rapids which progress in size until we drop into the lower canyon where we'll run BIG rapids including House Rock and the continuous Mad Mile.
The total time required for the trip is about 3 hours. We shuttle you to and from the river.
Our office is located just minutes from the end of the trip - so you can get right back to change into dry clothes and get comfortable.

Offered for folks who are looking for a fun time without the challenge of the Mad Mile - especially in June when the water is high.
Enjoy fun rapids such as Hilarity Hole, Screaming Left, and High-Speed Alley. These rapids offer fun splashes and relatively easy navigation without the challenge of long rapids like the Mad Mile.
Great for families and first timers, this trip is packed with excitement!

Spend the morning observing wildlife while floating by mountain meadows and spectacular rock outcroppings. You'll run Snake Bite, Mother Eater and Portal Creek rapids.
We'll take a break to indulge in a delicious all you can eat lunch by the river. (Deli meats and cheeses to make your own hoagies + chips, cookies, soda). You are welcome to stash your own goodies in the cooler as well.
Enjoy an exhilarating afternoon rafting the lower canyon. (See half-day).
Your guide carries a dry-bag for you to store whatever you might need for the day.

Our incredibly fun dinner trips are becoming one of the most popular events in the canyon. We'll take you on our half day raft trip and down the river a little further. Slip into something more comfortable and dine on the banks of the river - Fred's barbeque dinner of steak or burgers with baked potato, corn on the cob and chips/salsa. Great for family reunions, weddings, staff parties, or just about any celebration. Our corporate clients include Gibson Guitar, Target, McDonalds Restaurants, Supreme Court Judges...

Inflatable or Sit-On-Top KAYAK TRIPS - Gallatin River

Take a solo journey in a one person inflatable kayak! It gives a lot more excitement of than rafting without requiring very much skill. If you are interested in eventually doing some white water kayaking, the duckie is a great way to try out solo boating! You get huge hits! The duckies are very stable which helps to keep you from flipping over when you hit those big holes and waves. A guide will introduce you to the technique and assist you as you navigate class III rapids.
